How to connect
- Create a free account and an API key in Settings.
- Add the server
https://martianalpha.com/api/mcp(Streamable HTTP) with the headerAuthorization: Bearer ma_...to Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Claude Desktop, the Claude API, the OpenAI API or any MCP client. - Ask your agent a space-market question.

- Company file (look_up_company): Quote, valuation, price performance, AI deep dive, CANSLIM scores, insider trades, contract awards, or a private company's profile and funding.
- Company news (company_news): Latest headlines and catalysts for a listed company: news, contract awards, filings and launches.
- Screener (screen_companies): Rank every tracked space company by movers, valuation, growth, short interest, analyst upside, CANSLIM and more.
- Price history (price_history): Trend, high and low, drawdown and volatility over a range, from daily closes.
- Martian Alpha datasets (site_data): Contracts, funding rounds, IPO pipeline, constellations, launch slips and stock reactions, the State of Space report, filings, predictions and more.
- Launches (launches): Upcoming launches with time, rocket, pad and probability, or results of recent ones.
- Live space data (space_now): People in space, space weather, ISS position, satellite close approaches, deep-space missions and exoplanets.

- An endpoint at martianalpha.com/api/mcp that speaks the Model Context Protocol, so AI agents can call Martian Alpha's tools: company files, the screener, price history, news, launches, datasets such as contract awards, funding rounds and launch slips, live space data, a space-engineering calculator and a night-sky calculator.
- How do I connect it?
- Create an API key in Settings (any plan), then add the server URL with the header "Authorization: Bearer" and your key to your client. The page gives copy-paste setup for Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Claude Desktop, the Claude API and the OpenAI API.
- Is it free?
- Yes, the Free plan includes 100 lookups a day. Paid plans include more, up to 20,000 a day on Space Business. Your agent's own AI usage is billed by its provider.
- Can my agent change anything on my account?
- No. Every tool is read-only: it can read your watchlist, paper trades and plan, but cannot change them, and datasets follow your plan exactly as on the pages.
